We send photos, videos, and text updates on a scheduled basis directly to your phone number so you can see how much fun your pet is having! While our hands are often full with feedings, playtime, and hands on care, we reply to text inquiries as quickly as possible.
If you ever need immediate or time sensitive communication, feel free to give us a direct call.
When you arrive, please keep your dog on a secure leash or your cat safely in their carrier. Give us a quick call or text, or ring the doorbell when you've arrived.
Because our guest pets roam freely inside and throughout the yard, we coordinate every arrival carefully to ensure calm, safe transitions without doorway crowding or surprise encounters. Please allow a few extra minutes for drop-off and pick-up so no one is rushed, as safely securing the other guests before we open the door can take just a moment!
We provide frequent outdoor breaks throughout the day in our secure, fenced backyard. Since our guests stay active and drink plenty of water while playing, we make sure they have regular opportunities to relieve themselves and stretch their legs. Outdoor time is always supervised and tailored to each pet's comfort, sunbathers can lounge, active pups can play, and guests who prefer relaxing indoors are never forced outside.
YES! Our fence is >5 feet high meaning it's harder for even our athletic guests to jump over. If your pet does like to hop fences, let us know so we can assure their safety. All guests are supervised during outdoor time.
During feedings, guests are separated into rooms or crates. Each pet receives their designated meal in a secure and comfortable area, preventing any potential conflicts or sharing of food. Rest assured, your pet's feeding time is treated with care and attention, ensuring a stress free eating experience.
We highly encourage that you bring your own food, a change in food can upset your pet's stomach and leave them extremely uncomfortable. In the event that you do not bring food or something happens where we have no access to your pet's food, we will provide it or source it ourselves.
Please note that while we take great care in your pet's dietary needs, we are not responsible for any upset stomachs or digestive issues that may occur during their stay.
Please bring your pet's regular food as you prefer.
We recommend bringing your pet's regular food in its original bag, a large sealable container, or a gallon Ziploc bag. No need to pack individual meal baggies for each day! You do not need to bring a measuring cup or scoop; simply make sure their exact feeding amounts and routine are noted in their registration form (having it in writing is strongly recommended) or communicated clearly during drop-off.
We always recommend bringing 2–3 extra days worth of food in case your travel plans are delayed. We also have plenty of refrigerator and freezer space available if your pet eats fresh, raw, or canned wet food.
We provide plenty of comfy beds, blankets, stainless steel bowls, and safe toys, as well as large wire crates if needed. Truly, all you need to bring is your pet and their food!
While you don't need to pack bulky items, sending a familiar unwashed t-shirt, small blanket, or one or two durable comfort toys can help your pet settle in faster. Please leave delicate or easily shreddable toys at home to ensure group safety.
We ask that you leave standard food and water bowls at home. You are only welcome to bring your pet's bowl if it is a specialized slow feeder, puzzle bowl, or veterinary prescribed bowl.

Exceptions are made on a strict case by case basis, typically for longtime regular guests who grew up with us from puppyhood and have an established, proven temperament in our home. If your dog is over 1 year and intact, please reach out directly before booking so we can discuss your pet's history.

We are on the northwest side of Tallahassee, near the Lake Jackson Library.

All of our guests sleep inside.
Some pet's sleep on our beds, the couches, carpets, the cool vinyl or wood floors or beds that you or we may provide. They have the option to sleep where they are comfortable. All of our guests sleep inside. Some pets sleep on our beds, couches, carpets, or the cool floors—they have full freedom to sleep wherever they are comfortable.
We also have large 48-inch crates available for pets that are crate-trained or prefer to sleep in a crate at night. While we play both indoors and outdoors, our guests are never left outside overnight.
Yes! If your pet has food, medication or treats, that need to be refrigerated, feel free to bring it.

A meet and greet is an opportunity for you, your pet(s), and us to get acquainted. We like to use this time for the humans to get to know each other while your pet explores our environment. We'll evaluate their temperament and sociability, and it's the perfect chance for you to ask any questions so you feel completely confident leaving your furry family member in our care.
Our hours for drop off and pick up are between 6AM and 6PM Monday through Saturday, however we are very flexible. If you need pick up or drop off before/after these times, give us a call and we can make accommodations with you.
Boarding Buddy ensures our guests get plenty of daily exercise and playtime in our spacious indoor and outdoor play areas. While we prefer to use the backyard, if an individual guest would benefit from a traditional neighborhood leash walk to feel more comfortable, we are happy to walk them, with your permission.
It totally depends on your pet. We do our best to replicate the home environment, if your pet is a couch potato, we do our best to get them enough daily movement, but also allow them to be themselves like at home. We have guests that are super energetic and spend most of their day playing and jumping around, while others are a lot more timid.
Every holiday we do typically do activities. For Christmas, we'll do Christmas photos, and for holidays like Thanksgiving and Valentines Day, we'll do themed art. This is something we do in daycare as well, for no additional charge.
Our cats unlike dogs don't require the attention of going outside, constant belly rubs and chasing balls, our cats do as they wish throughout the day and are welcome to be social with us as they please.
Whether they are energetic or timid we accommodate what your pet needs.
Unlike other boarders, our daycare and boarding groups are together, meaning your pet does activities with our other boarding and daycare guests. You never have to pay additionally for their freedom or playtime.
Unlike other boarders, we are a home, meaning there is less stress or unfamiliar elements like those at a big, loud warehouse kennel. Our guests sleep on our beds, our carpets, and couches and sometimes with us, just like at your home. If your pet is crate trained, we have extra-large crates where your pet can sleep during the night. Our home is climate controlled, powered by our solar panels, with giant windows so they always feel comfortable and get natural light, something kennels do not provide. With water accessible 24/7 and a huge backyard with real trees and pet-safe bushes, expect your pet to enjoy the outdoors and be able to get some lovely rays, your pet gets to experience a safe and comfortable environment while also being able to let out their wild side. We are happy to administer your pet's oral or injectable medications (including insulin) free of charge. We strictly follow your dosing schedule to ensure your pet stays comfortable and on routine throughout their stay. For your pet's safety, please provide all medications in their original prescription bottles with clear, current veterinary labels and instructions.
While we take every measure to ensure your pet's safety, much like children on a playground, dogs can occasionally experience minor nicks, scratches, or rough-and-tumble play marks. We monitor play constantly to keep energy levels healthy and safe.
In the unlikely event of a medical emergency, we will promptly contact you and seek veterinary care from your listed veterinarian (or Allied Veterinary Emergency Hospital if your vet is unavailable).
Yes! We group our canine guests carefully by both size and temperament. High energy, excited puppies are never grouped with calm, senior, or shy dogs.
We perform slow, supervised introductions and continuously monitor group dynamics. If a dog ever shows signs of stress, overexcitement, or discomfort, they are immediately transitioned to a quiet, separate area to relax. Our top priority is making sure every guest feels secure, calm, and safe in our home.
Our cat guests are kept completely separate from dogs in their own dedicated cat rooms. They have quiet, private spaces to rest and explore without any contact, sight, or stress from our canine guests.
Most cats do well sharing large spaces and are always temperament tested before being introduced to other cats. If a cat does not get along with others or simply prefers solitary time, we place them in their own private room.
Because we operate out of a real home rather than a commercial facility, our daily routine mirrors everyday home life. While I (Isaiah) am home for the vast majority of the day, as I work from home, and supervising play, meals, and rest, pets may occasionally be left alone inside for brief intervals (such as running local errands or attending appointments). Dogs that are crate trained or require confinement for safety are secured comfortably in their designated spaces during these short times.
There is no penalty for canceling, give us a call or text so we know you'd like to cancel your reservation. This way we can open your spot for someone else.
If you have already paid for daycare or boarding days, give us a call so we can refund or reschedule those days for you.
