Welcome to Boarding Buddy
Boarding Buddy is an in-home pet boarding and daycare service run out of my personal home in Tallahassee. When your pet stays with us, they're living in an actual house, sleeping on couches, playing in a fenced backyard, and spending time with me.
We're not a kennel, a shelter, or a pet sitting service that comes to your home. We're the ones who open our home to your pet while you're away.
What to Expect
Your pet will have the run of my home. They eat, nap, play indoors and outdoors, and sleep wherever they're most comfortable — the beds, couches, carpets, or in a crate if that's what they prefer. Every guest is temperament tested and introduced gradually to make sure everyone gets along.
I keep you updated with photos and texts whenever you want them — just reach out and I'll respond as soon as I can.
Is Boarding Buddy Right for Your Pet?
We're a great fit if your pet is social, comfortable around people, and up to date on vaccinations. We do require pets over one year old to be spayed or neutered.
We may not be the best fit for pets that are aggressive or haven't been socialized with other animals. I'd rather be upfront about that than have a bad experience for your pet or anyone else staying here.

Hey there, I'm Isaiah, founder of Boarding Buddy. I've always been a huge dog and cat person, and what started as a hobby quickly turned into something I truly enjoy doing every day.
Since starting Boarding Buddy in 2016, I've cared for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I focus on creating a calm, structured environment where dogs can feel comfortable while their owners are away.
Caring for pets isn’t just work for me, it’s something I genuinely enjoy.
I take pride in getting to know each dog and making sure they have a safe and positive stay. Many of our guests become family friends.
